About
T. Ray Purser was actively involved in the cable TV and broadband industry for over 33 years, having held a number of senior level positions in advertising sales, public relations, government relations and community affairs. Purser retired as vice president, external affairs from Comcast NBC Universal on April 30, 2021. He formed Purser Public Affairs in 2022 to help provide strategic counsel, policy expertise and advocacy to businesses and organizations. His expertise will help your organization design and execute public policy positions, community building, communications, and advocacy strategies. Purser is actively involved in the Greater Houston Community and serves on a number of non-profit boards including Legacy Community Health, Houston's largest Federally Qualified Healthcare Agency. He also serves on the National LGBT Victory Fund Campaign Board. He is proud to have also served on the campaign finance committees of City of Houston Mayors Annise Parker and Sylvester Turner. Upon his retirement and for his years of service to Comcast and the Houston Community, he was honored to receive a proclamation naming April 30, 2021 as "Ray Purser Day" in the City of Houston by Mayor Sylvester Turner.
